Belinda Pilling

I have no formal musical background other than learning the piano from the age of five and growing up in a family which enjoyed music. I was fortunate to attend a school which regarded music as a priority and was exposed to all genres of music from a young age.

I am a member of Meadowside Choir as well as Isle of Man Choral Society, singing for me is both fun and essential for my well- being. I have been a member of Isle of Man Choral Society for three years.

I firmly believe that music should be for everyone and no one should be put off joining a choral society because they feel intimidated by the complexities of choral works and not being able to read music. There is always someone more than willing to help you.

I am privileged to have been invited onto the committee this year and I hope to serve the needs of the choir by exploring new ways of publicising our events and attracting new members.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries or ideas which I can pass onto the committee
