It’s nearly a year since forty seven members and a few partners all met in Berlin for the memorable and historic performance of Karl Jenkins’ ‘The Armed Man’ to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.
Since returning from Berlin after taking part in that centenary event, many of you have asked me to produce a DVD of the S4C broadcast which went out on 11th November 2018. I tried to produce an introduction/prologue to the screening and most, if not all, of you were delighted with the DVD produced. I do accept that a few members had problems with operating the DVD and for various reasons were unable to “produce” a picture through your DVD player. I have subsequently tried to produce fresh DVDs but have not had any success and have offered an USB stick as an alternative which produces the recording I made due to there being more space on the USB stick and which is not restricted to 4.7GB.
The good news is that a DVD has recently been released and you are in a position to obtain a discount [see below] on its purchase.
In addition to the performance, there is a bonus DVD with interviews relating to the event. This DVD will be something to treasure and a constant reminder of the unique occasion. With Christmas coming up, how about purchasing this DVD as a Christmas gift.
I have only received an email from Gwawr Owen this morning but have contacted James Longstaffe at Presto [Presto has taken over the CDs from Choraline as distributor] seeing if an extra discount may be obtained in addition to the one I will mention below. He cannot help. The offer discounted by £5.00 to me sounds a very good one when one can purchase good quality and even better with Blue-Ray.
Details of special offer: Please use the following code which will give you £5 off either the DVD or the Blu-ray:
